COMMITTEE

Established in agreement with the artist’s rights holders, the representatives of her estate, her biographer, and a group of experts and specialists in her work, the Dora Maar Committee is chaired by Victoria Combalía, historian, art critic, and exhibition curator.

The Committee’s mission is the promotion, defense, and protection of the graphic, pictorial, and photographic work of Dora Maar (1907 – 1997), a major artist of the 20th century.

Its activities are based on an in-depth knowledge of the artist's work, extensive and comprehensive documentation, and permanent access to her personal archives.

The Dora Maar Committee invites individuals in possession of works (photographs, paintings, and works on paper) by Dora Maar to contact them regarding their inclusion in the artist’s catalogue raisonné, which is currently in preparation.
